I like Aaron Blaise's channel and Proko. I also watch some guy named Will Terry once in a while 🙂

It's not a youtube video, but have you listened to Marco Bucci's audiobook? It's a good listen when you don't want to focus 100% on a certain thing

@smceccarelli Brandon Sanderson's lectures on creative writing and world building are really interesting - they are meant for writers sure but they are great for story telling and creating a narrative which could be translated for illustration - I came across them accidentally, one started to auto play and 13 hours later i'd watched them all 😃

@gary-wilkinson I did listen to it! And also Bobby Chiu`s „The perfect bait“ and a bunch of others. They are really interesting.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but lately I've been listening to Sketch Zone Podcasts and next to the SVS podcasts these have become my favorite company during my drawing sessions. You can listen to it, but they also provide video where they show art related to the topic or artist they have as a guest.

                I recommend Cannel Chriswell https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCL5kBJmBUVFLYBDiSiK1VDw

He is not an illustrator but a cinema enthusiast that makes wonderful video essays about several storytelling topics (colour, composition...) an movie analyses.

I have learned a lot about storytelling by just watching his videos. His narrative goes well with the video imagery but you can enjoy just his voice!

If you have Netflix there is a show called Abstract The Art of Design. Its not all illustration but anything to do with design. Just listening to their stories is inspiring.

@chip-valecek Yes, my designer colleagues keep mentioning that one! I will have to check it out!

Meanwhile, today I came across a really excellent lecture by concept artist Matt Rhodes

I like audio books get em' from the library or Audible what I like about the audio book is that you aren't tempted to look (and if you lose the plot as I frequently do, it doesn't matter just run it back).

There's this cool little show staring Drew Brophy it's only five episodes but it's fun. His wife is a licensing genius. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tsZpZG3-UI&list=PLs_Sid3kLIkIooaLoGLTnlXXwoMXIbGpq
