      Hi, everyone!
all your recent posts about inking motivated me to also use this autumn for some inking practise. I started with a scene of my favorite painter Carl Spitzweg. The line art (left) I prepared digitally. Then I inked with brush and fine liners. It's my first attempt, what should I do differently next time?

Wow--as someone who is still figuring out inking myself I don't have many suggestions to make. This looks really nice! I like how you weren't afraid to go totally black in some places, I struggle with that sometimes.

One of the things that helps me when I am creating something with a series of lines is to think of the texture and direction of the object and how it is different from other things in the picture. I think you have some of that going on here really well, but it could be maybe pushed a little more. As I said, I'm still figuring out inking too, so that is just a thought. Again, very well done.

Never give up, always push yourself two steps further than you believe you can go.

good stuff! I really like how your think line against the bold black shape. Very dramatic yet beautiful.
