I've been meaning to get over here and join you all since the podcast started and I finally made it. It's been about half an hour and you all seem pretty cool.
Anyway, I'm Amber Bellerjeau, I'm 25, I've been a pen for hire for a while, but after graduating SCAD Atlanta three years ago with a sequential arts degree, I'm working on getting to a point where I can support myself with my art. To be honest, I've been flailing a lot since graduation, but apparently I'm flailing the right direction. I've had work here and there on comics, advertisement, storyboards and illustration, all indi or one-offs and not the kind of pay to write home about, but still some things for the resume. The podcast (and all the youtube content) has helped me make a clearer plan going forward both from a business side and a content creation side, not to mention all the philosophical stuff.
So, that's my life story, I don't know how much rambling is tolerated here but thanks for reading.
