Autumn reflection

Hi, here is my entry for this month, I call it “The embrace of the Fall” and is how I see the Fall is hugging us, no matter what.

I haven't posted/added anything in a long time- but I felt inspired by autumn this year! Just a basic little scene, but I tried to evoke sweetness, cooler weather & general fall vibes.

Here’s my entry. I was thinking of calling it “autumn gown” or something. I’m not really sure. I hope you guys like it. This is not the piece i planned on submitting at the start of the month but my intial plan was too complex for me so i placed it at the back burner for now. Thank you to everyone who helped me.

@lynn-bacharka Thank you! I didn't know what to do at first. I was just going to use a moon photo overlay as a base to give it some texture, but used a paint splatter brush in Procreate instead. I was like.. uhh, good enough.

Wow what a talented bunch of artists! I've enjoyed seeing everyone's creation for "Fall". Here's what I came up with. It didn't come through in the photo but there is gold ink on the foxes, so they sparkle. I'm going to have to get a better lighting set up so I can capture the metallic inks.

@eli Thanks! I was trying to be looser with the watercolour than I usually am. It's a start... If I have time next weekend I'm going to dig out some lights and try to get the lighting sorted for photographing metallic ink. If I get good results I'll make a thread about it. I use some of the metallic pan pastels too, have you tried those? They are great!
