@branden-brushett Thank you! I think it has never been easy for monsters, and now it's even worse..poor little hairy creatures

I did a slightly different interpretation of the theme. Aldo Leopold was an instrumental figure in the early US conservation movement and he said that he originally viewed wolves as predators to be feared and eradicated but then came to a new understanding of them after he shot a mother wolf. He wrote:
โWe reached the old wolf in time to watch a fierce green fire dying in her eyes. I realized then, and have known ever since, that there was something new to me in those eyes โ something known only to her and to the mountain. I was young then, and full of trigger-itch; I thought that because fewer wolves meant more deer, that no wolves would mean huntersโ paradise. But after seeing the green fire die, I sensed that neither the wolf nor the mountain agreed with such a view.โ
I did this as a traditional watercolor and Procreate digital composite.

Quick sketch of, in my opinion, the ultimate misunderstood monster, Frankenstein's Monster.

hi thanks

I really struggled all month to come up with my version of a misunderstood monster. Then I watched the newest The Mummy movie with Tom Cruise over the weekend and this happened.

@branden-brushett this is genius!

I went with a trio of harpies this time around. These poor creatures have been getting a bad rap for more than two thousand years!
