Please help me find resources to teach me how to upload art here.

I'm not seeming to understand how to upload pictures to this forum. They seem to do fine on facebook or in e-mail attachments. I'm not a digital artist and don't really get the different measurements very well. Can some one direct me to some good source for learning how to do this? I can scan onto a flash drive and get it onto my computer and then I ding around until I can find it again
I'm not sure what size and how many pixels or whatever-megabytes, etc. I have some projects that I'd like to share but it's still new for me even to remember how to expand this window so I can see what I'm writing (just figured that out a bit ago). I sometimes try to send photos of my work with my new smart phone (stlll learning that too).To make a long story short (as usual)-please direct me to a learning resource that a technically challenged Grandma can understand. Thank you.
Until then I'll keep plugging along trying to figure things out.

@Marsha-Kay-Ottum-Owen Use this tool. The images should not be bigger than 2000x2000 pixels
.PNG files work the best. Hope it helps XD -
