      Hi there!

I thought it would be fun to share some of my process on a sketch I have been working on. One thing I've always wanted to get better at is drawing mechs. I went through the Drawing Robots and Machinery video a couple of times and have just been sketching a bunch of random stuff and looking at a lot of reference.

Most of my sketches I am working in Procreate on my iPad. I am really enjoying it for most of my drawings. I'll usually start with a rough sketch in red with a thick brush and then work over top of it with smaller brushes until I get it to a place where I like it. Then I usually ink it. One thing I have never been good at is working with color. For this drawing I decided to take a crack at working with color. I kept it pretty simple though. Any thoughts or comments? I would love to hear any feedback you might have.

You can also take a look at a little process video I made. You'll see I spent a lot of time re-working the legs. The other thing you might notice is that I roughed out how the cockpit works so that I could have a good idea for where the legs should be placed. https://youtu.be/wlaHLeohHYc

      Thanks for looking!

That's really cool and it looks like you handled the colors like a champ.
