Here is a new version of the PIG. Let me know guys
-
That pig is looads better! Love his expression
-
@Dulcie Thanks Glad you like.. It was definitely a good change.
-
@Kris-Knight with this pose of the pig, there should be some tension in the rope, this way it looks unnatural. it seems like it is floating ignoring the weight of the pig, like in vaccuum. Yet they should drag the sledge.
-
great improvement on the pig!
-
Haha, that pig is great! It looks like you're having a lot of fun with this.
Feel free to ignore this, but as someone who grew up with driving ponies it seems so weird to me that they would somehow be able to pull a sleigh without some kind of actual harness, particularly the cow and pig. Others might not fixate on that as much as me though, its just my background I guess that makes me look for that specifically.

@Sarah-LuAnn
Yeah, I definitely was going for the more whimsical beginning of the animal's journey. They are all freaking out (not the gerbil) and aren't working together yet. I know what you are saying about the harness :). I totally agree. I just went with the whole magic of it and less with the actual physics that would be necessary :). I appreciate the comment! Thanks. -
@Kris-Knight
Ha ha those eggs. Priceless.
-
@mattramsey
Thanks matt.
I was checking out your art heroes... I love all those guys too. Adam Rex's poetry is cool. and Sam Neilson is just awesome. not to mention Bobby and the others. lol -
This post is deleted! -
@Damien-Rambacher
Thanks! Yeah, I will revisit the batteries as I paint it... I'm like you... I'd rather not have the word but I was playing it safe. lol. -
@Kris-Knight you could always do something like AAA or 9V instead of batteries.
-
@Chip-Valecek
Very true... I will try that and take a look -

And here is where I am at right now...
Let me know your thoughts to improve... Thanks guys :). -
Nice story, so cute!!
-
Gorgeously rendered! I think it's a little heavy on the backlighting (rim lighting) for my taste. Looks too outlined. Perhaps soften/blur the white edging a bit?
Beautiful & cute!
-
I really like the way you've done the lighting with the fairy lights, and the reflected light on the ball...really nicely done and I think this whole piece is so much fun! Love the rhyme too, brings the story together. Great work!
