Seriously though, SVS has been great for me over the last year. It is amazing to see the difference in my work from a year ago. The forums have been an almost as valuable resource as the classes.

I am much older than you and starting out as an author-illustrator after a long career in engineering. Age is just a number. Don't let that limit you. Learn as much as you can. It is all worth it if you enjoy and have fun along the way.

@Fossi-Images Just took a look at your IG. That is impressive work! My best friend is a graphic artist who has recently gotten into block printing. He lives in California, so I've never seen him work. Watching your process videos has given me some insight!

Just like you @Basil-Godevenos : I'm 38 and just got back to drawing after putting it aside in my teenage years.

I relate a lot to what you're saying, and all the other comments are giving me more reasons to keep practicing!
