@ArtofAleksey These are awesome! Great balance of detailed and "quieter" areas.
-
@carriecopadraws thanks yeah it took me several tries to make something work
-
@ArtofAleksey they look great! Thanks for sharing the process!
-
Perhaps a pod that can be used for aquatic planets
-
Wow!! These ships are gorgeous! I'm really curious and excited to know more about the civilization these ships represent.
-
@Tracy-McCusker that’s my next project haha
-
These are gorgeous! I love the graceful curves. And your line weight is so dynamic!
-
I'm really diggin' all the coils and pipes kept nice and close to the hull
-
@Braden-Hallett @baileymvidler thanks y’all!
-
Having trouble sleeping so heres another one
-
I like them. Is each one from a different interstellar ethnic group?
-
@Kim-Hunter i havnt been putting story into them frankly. I’ve just been messing around with aesthetics. Does it feel like they are?
Ive thought about them sorta as cars people can purchase to get around in space. They dont have weapons because cars dont either. Theyre for civilians.
-
I think that's a great idea. I can see them cruising the main drag on an intergalactic Saturday night. Cheers!
-
@Kim-Hunter yeah i like to think about how regular people do things in fantasy worlds. What do aliens dance to at weddings? What do mole people have on their birthdays? That silly sort of thing. I think thats why I really liked the first cars movie, the world building with the regular cars and how they live and have jobs.
-
@ArtofAleksey I love that you envision the everyday peaceful lives of the alien civilizations. I think that's why I like the scene in Guardians of the Galaxy 1 when they are running and fighting in the alien shopping plaza. The people are freaking out like everyone here would be if their shopping trip was interrupted by bounty hunters chasing down people in Target.
