Need Your Input on an SVS Illustrator Digital Summit

I really like the idea. I am not sure if it is possible for me to wathc live since I have a toddler at home, and scheduling 2-4 hour away from her are almost impossible at this moment. But I will definitely watch the recording.

I am thinking maybe there is a way to send in questions in advance somehow for those who can not make it live. I know it is challenging logistically. I am totally understand if this is not an option.

In terms of the content, I am also interested in hearing from well known editors such as picturebook editors in Chronicle books and penguin random house, and agents such as Steven Malk talking about the business and culture around picturebooks.

sounds amazing! things is, i have my Passover festival that week actually starting the evening of 8th april so i could only manage the begining of that week, so if we would be doing plan B or C id be worried id miss it all if its in the end of the week ...althought truth to be told it might not even work in the begining of that week cuz the days leading up to passover are normally really busy! i may just rely on watching the recordings

I don’t want to miss this but, for some reason I’m only on the promo emails instead of the member ones. Do I need to change something in my email settings?

@Pamela-Fraley We just used Zoom this past Sunday for our church and people liked it much more than a straight live stream. In fact, I was so appreciative of my experiences here on SVS: I chose Zoom to use for the church because I had seen how well it works with the critiques, and my two sisters (also in ministry) and I did a round table discussion as part of our virtual service that was inspired by the three point perspective podcast. SVS has taught me a lot more than art!
