Hi, all. My inspiration comes from pre-Covid-19 days. Being the new kid can be particularly hard and “isolating” at lunch time, leaving one fiddling with a milk carton and not eating much food. I explored patterns to provide the energy for the noise/conversation from others in the room.
I've been a bit quiet here lately. I've been experimenting with combing traditional and digital media lately and made this today

@eriberart Really nice! I love how the watercolor looks, it's something I think can't really be replicated digitally yet. I did a similar thing this month with a watercolor background and a digital painted character...I wasn't quite sure if I made the digital and traditional bits feel like they "belong" in the same image, but I feel like you integrated them really well here.

Have you all noticed the rare things happening during the pandemic? Snowrollers are a rare phenomenon, so I imagined an isolated hare caught as possibly responsible. It's a cover for a middle grade mystery novel that I haven't written yet 
.
I have really enjoyed seeing everyone's entries so much. We're still pretty isolated here so it's been nice to have this forum. Can't wait to see all of them!!
