I’m Kendra Minadeo, an illustrator and watercolorist living in Los Angeles.
Most of my watercolors are inspired by pop culture and adorableness—My best work is expressed through cheerful moments and whimsical mischief. I try to make each piece joyful and fun in content, composition and color. These things make me happy and I hope they make others happy too. 
Much of my time is spent creating custom commissions for clients and their families, in addition to painting licensed pop culture pieces for a local gallery in Beverly Hills www.hcgart.com. In my next adventures I plan to expand into children’s books, comics and conventions. At my day gig, I work as a project coordinator/office manager/brand strategist for a small design firm that does concept design for theme parks. www.bezark.com It's pretty fun.
At SVS I plan to step up my skills (thanks to the subscription). I'm self taught and pretty much skipped all the fundamentals and have been faking my way through until now. I look forward to working through all the classes and participating in the contests and forums.
You guys have built a pretty rad community here and I'm super happy to have found you.
