JUNE CONTEST: A very different kind of prompt!

My first digital piece using a drawing tablet and Photoshop. How did I fare?

I wanted to highlight both the start and end of the story. The corners of the page are dedicated to each type of fruit that Bongo comes across. He finally gets his beloved, juicy orange and outwitted Clyde as well. This scene is just before Bongo realises he has to find a way to get back across the river!

Drew inspiration from the yin and yang symbol, to depict the dualism between the two characters in the story.

I decided to paint the opening scene with Bongo waking up to the morning sun with a huge stretch!

Loving all the pieces submitted so far! Maybe we’ll have the full story to make a children’s book thanks to @Will-Terry!
