@Chip-Valecek does black and white mean utterly black and white? Are we allowed to use an inkwash for greys?

@Dima-Eichhorn My niece is pretty good at art for her age and I have introduced her to watercolour, gouache, pencil crayon qualities, oil pastel, acrylic, and shown her my soft pastels.

Hi! I'm Scharon, here is my version of the Ink Fairy. I am not a student at SVS (though I hope to be in the near future) but was so inspired by the contest that I decided to share my sketch. I figured the Ink Fairy probably needs some life-experience if she's gonna protect ink and bring creativity to all, that's why she's old, for wisdom you know :))

Hi @Scharon! I love your take on the ink fairy concept, especially that she is elderly and part bird - amazing. Is that a ferret she is riding? So cute!
