SEPTEMBER CONTEST: Ink Fairy

Since we are getting ready for Inktober around here, this month’s prompt is all about the ink: Today was the day, she just KNEW it. Today, Ellie would finally snap a photo of an ink fairy.

There’s a few extra requirements just to get in the spirit of things:
-Must be ink, or look like ink
-Must be black and white

Here are some more details:

The contest is open to anyone. But the winners and runners up will only be selected from active SVS members.

Post only finished pieces here. Post WIP projects in their own thread.

Put your real name and forum name on the image somewhere (can be on a border if you like).

Not sure, maybe it's just me, but sometimes I catch myself holding my breath,...when I'm inking that nice line.

@Chip-Valecek does black and white mean utterly black and white? Are we allowed to use an inkwash for greys?

@Braden-Hallett last year’s allowed for ink washes. So I’d say go for it.

@Dima-Eichhorn My niece is pretty good at art for her age and I have introduced her to watercolour, gouache, pencil crayon qualities, oil pastel, acrylic, and shown her my soft pastels.
