I’m using faux inktober to play around in procreate and figure out how I want to use it. Here’s a cute denison barb (or roseline shark) in a more painterly style than my usual. Heavily referenced a photograph from pinterest by Lee Dunbar.

It was fun trying to emulate the scales!

Here's my 1st faux inktober 2020 piece.

The Walrus is me.

My title for this project is Miss Penelope’s House of Wonders.

The story here is that it’s Halloween. Kids are trick or treating. There’s this one house in the neighboorhood that only opens its doors to visitors during this one night of the year, Miss Penelope’s House of Wonders. Everyone is free to enter. In every room is a magical, quirky, and sometimes plain weird but fun pocket dimension. The kids love exploring this house. Join them as they discover all the dimensions this house has to offer.

I chose this Prompt because I need new pieces for my portfolio. I’m lacking a lot of elements like winter and snowy landscapes, under the sea, fairies/fairytales, animals/forests, etc...

I’ve mentioned before that my goal is 12 pieces but I’m happy if I can finish 6.

Wasn’t a big fan of my actual inktober piece for day one but here is a secondary piece I did more along the lines of what I wanted sense my goal for this month is to improve digitally as well.

Here is day, 2. The rendering is not as good as I would like but I think the composition and storytelling is good.
