My Inktober 2020!
Hi all! I never posted my Inktober from last year, so I decide to try here again. Here is day 1 ‘fish’. I decided to go with a paintbrush and ink this year as Copic markers were costing too much and I was tired of ordering them a month ahead of time, tired of refilling them and it didn’t seem worth it. I’m going old school and enjoying inking again.
day 2-whisp. Inktober is certainly a lot of work. Hopefully I’ll survive this year! But it certainly does make you grow as an artist, unfortunately I always feel burnt out after and don’t want to draw for some time.

@VeronicaMui I looked it up on the internet and it was supposed to be Japanese for ‘Hope.’ Not sure if that’s what it’s says though!

@Doodleworx aaah, ok. Japanese does have a lot of the same characters as Chinese, so I’m not surprised. It does mean hope or wish
