Before SVS and After 7 months here!

These are before and after illustrations for my book that I self published over a year ago and before I started using photoshop. After 7 months with SVS I am so pleased with my growth, thank you guys so much!!!! I would love advice for improvements too!!

Nice progress, keep it up! There are always, and I mean always, new things to discover, things to improve, things to see. And it will come naturally with practice and learning from experienced artists. You just have to endure. Never give up. If a bad drawing comes up, just archive it, move on, and laugh at it when you get better and repeat repeat repeat.
I personally can't wait for May when it will be a year since my first digital paiting and I will repaint it.
How about if more people post their progress? I would love to see that.

@audrey-dowling Night and day isn't it? I cringe too every time I look at my book. I love my story so I am going to redo every picture!! I just love your new illustration it has so much love in it!!

@Thrace I was thinking what would improve your image and I think you can apply what Lee said in January 3rd Thursday. You use just local colours - blue, green, brown, yellow. You need to mix your colours, colour of moon light will mix where it hits things, blue from water and darkness could mix into shadows and colours of bugs. Watch again Lees intermission and try to apply it. Try to work on it like Lee did with purple monster image.
Also, you have reflection from moon, grass and bridge will also be reflected in the water. -
