My January Art Contest Entry: Yeti Home. I imagine with all the hype that the Yeti is a tongue in cheek kind of creature! Living in a giant refrigerator with a chimney repurposed for bird houses (do Yetis like to be warm?) I had some trouble getting the image at a small enough resolution so I hope it's visible.

Hi everyone, this is my take on the YETI HOME. I was thinking that my YETI loves snow and snowball fights. When there is no one around he plays with his snowman, waiting for and hoping that the mailman will play with him.
In the end I like this peace even though I don´t think the story is clear enough. God job everyone

Here is my attempt at a yeti home.

My Yeti is kind of boring He’s a loner who likes to fish and play the fiddle. Most times he can be found in his basement doing woodworks.

He doesn’t like to draw attention so the exterior is extremely bland. It was hard to think of props that could show his personality so I just focused on making the house silhouette igloo-like.

I wanted to try other perspectives but I’ll be busy next week so we’re sticking to this haha. Can’t wait to see the results!

Here’s my entry for this month’s Critique Arena. I stepped outside of my comfort zone and tried something a little different on this one. It took me a while to get started as I wasn’t sure where to take it but I have to say that I’m more than happy with the outcome. Can’t wait to see what everyone else brings to the table this month.
