I actually struggled with colours a lot (it’s clearly visible on the first Charlie cover). Courses here on svs helped a lot. And I still need to always double check my color palettes, carefully create a color scheme for each story/illustration. -
@Asyas_illos thank you! At first, I was more or less ashamed by how my work looks like back then. Now I take it just as a progress. Everyone needs to start somewhere, and at least I know it’s always great to work on being a better artist.

@donnamakesart aw thank you so much!! Recently I have just been looking at a ton of Beatrice Alemagna and Emma Adbage. They are masters at composition and wonky perspectives.
For concepts, I usually come up with a character and then build the scene around that.
