Does anybody else have problems with file size and resolution?

I am having some issues when uploading my images. I always have to downsize and then when I go to zoom in the resolution is just...crappy. I have tried adjusting my canvases which helped a tiny bit. Does adding paint or more layers increase the size? I am new to digital art and haven’t the foggiest idea when it comes to this kind of stuff. When I upload my roughs or ink only it’s clear when I zoom in but then after adding my paint layers the quality goes down. Is this normal is there some thing I can do to fix it?

It will only show as nice and crisp at 100% resolution or less. If you're zoomed in higher than that, it will pixelate. What I do is, I work in high resolution and then once finalized, I merge all layers and then save another version in smaller size, smaller resolution for web upload. I hope that helps

@Asyas_illos ok, so you have a decent size image and when you upload it, it loses quality without you zooming in?

@Nyrryl-Cadiz it looks a bit fuzzy to me without zooming in but when you click to enlarge and try and zoom in to see detail it gets pixelated very fast

ok, so what happens is that if you upload a large-ish file, the site will resize your image. you'll know your image was resized because of the code used:
Also. your image will look blurry:
if you delete that "-resize" phrase, your image will be shown in it's original size and quality as seen below

Ok so when I go to upload it says this
So then I go back to re select a size from these options
It’s very frustrating ! I don’t see that (resized ) anywhere because it made me select a smaller size

Ok so I selected a different canvas and saw the (resized) code and deleted it so I’ll try this out but I’ve got all that white excess on there

Svs says the max is 2500 kB and actual file size is 5mb
