@mollylgm I'm a freelance illustrator, I wish to work in publishing or illustration studios alongside that. Most of the graduates from these universities work as book designers in prestigious publishing houses.

@Nyrryl-Cadiz I'm planning on applying for 2021, they are quite expensive, but if I get a scholarship I will go for them. How about you?

I work in Kingston and it’s a lovely place And easy to get to London, not sure specifically about the uni course. I was looking into the Cambridge course and it seems that people who’ve been there tend to go on to be successful and produce some lovely work

@Navya-Raju I studied my Masters in London (Goldsmiths UOL) and loved every second of it. Amazing tutors who all currently work in the industry, super tiny class size (which is why I chose here over Cambridge) there were only 12 in our entire MA course! It was also a really nice balance of practical illustration, industry education and cultural education around illustration. Also, being in london you are at the heart of agents and publishers. Honestly couldn't recommend it enough!

@Abigail-Hookham nice to hear about goldsmiths from personal experience, I couldn’t find as much info on that one!

@Navya-Raju i plan to save up for the next 3 to 4 years. I’m not from the uk so there will be very little chance that I’ll get a scholarship. There’s the Fulbright scholarship for Filipinos that can sponsor full time graduate studies in the US but the competition for it is fierce. I have a better chance just working my ass off and saving up the money myself. 😅

Hi sorry only just seen these messages.
The course is a year long, which for me was one of the reasons I chose it. A Lot is packed into a year which for me made it a really exciting course! Yeah if you have any questions feel free to message me privately 😊
