APRIL CONTEST: Design A Fairy-Tale Inn
-
@Robert-Maine Per Jake: "OOOOH, if it’s a good cutaway they will get bonus points from me."
-
@jaepereira Not joined at all. For the Yeti contests of December-February, they said you were free to go in a completely different direction for each part. And if you missed March, you're not out of luck for the rest of the way.
-
@Kevintreaccar cool thanks for letting me know.
-
@CLCanadyArts Good thing I have an architecture degree lol.
-
@Michael-Angelo-Go I can't wait to see how that influences your piece.
-
Cool! I already wanted to get some practice in architecture. Just a question though; what is generally meant by a ‘3/4th angle’ in building design? Just a three point perspective view?
-
This is so much out of my comfort zone lol. CAAANNONBAAALL!!!!
-
@jaepereira yep! What @Kevintreaccar said!
-
-
First!
How I spent my Saturday.
-
Wow! the perspective is so cool and I love the stylized smoke as well as the texture of that tree!! Such a cool first entry!! setting the bar high already ; )
-
@Freya-Chakour thanks so much. Glad you like it!
-
@Joe-Koz where Twitter originated...over a pint of really bad stout.
-
Has anybody else submitted through the Critique Arena website yet? I just submitted using the new template but it says it won't be posted until the following Friday.
-
@chrisaakins lol! definitely wasn’t thinking of Twitter
Was going for”bluebird of friendliness” -
Here is my submission. I did it for Chiumbo, An African Fairy Tale that I created last month. Enjoy!
Do you know how hard it is to do a flat style in 3-D? Hard. I don't know that I pulled it off but it was fun nonetheless. I myself certainly would want to eat here.

-
I decided to do another one. I couldn’t sleep last night and this little inn was waiting to be born.
This is so much fun!
-
@chrisaakins love the poppy umbrellas
-
The Rusty Barnacle. A old beached ship that has been turned into a tavern and if you are brave enough, a inn. Maybe sleep with one eye open.
