Lots of fabulous Alberts this month! Hereβs Albert the coatimundi.
I had a lot of fun researching this challenge - so many amazing and bizarre animals out there! Iβd never actually heard of a coati before so have been enjoying this new discovery. (Even if his nose did prove a bit tricky at times!) -

Hello guys!!
I see a whole lot of cute mischievous mammals this month! In all honesty, I think that the majority of you fellow artists made wonderful pieces. Good luck!I chose to make a gamble and give Albert an alternative solution.
Since there were no rules on "real" mammal, I chose a mythical creature.
A chimera.
in reality i think it could possibly make a pretty good mascot for a kids show and an educational app, since it could ,in theory ,teach the children a lot of things.First of all , it is made from different parts of different animals, so you have a lot to analyze.
My second thought was that it would definitely had a hard time fitting in, so It would teach the kiddos a lot about anti-racism, true friendship and all those positive virtues.
So there you go!

Meet Albert the Skunk!
Living in the wild, he had to fend for himself. Rescued by the Walter family, he's now trying his best to fit in, but somehow he keeps finding himself in trouble!
Whether it's rifling through the garbage for food, keeping his farts at bay, or digging up the lawn to find worms, he has a lot of work to do to fit in. Lucky he's cute :)!

My Albert design for this month's contest, I'm really happy with this
My goal for this contest was to stick to the brief as closely as possible. 'Playful' and 'cute' were the two words that I tried to communicate the most, as well as the 'kindergarten' age as stated in the brief. I think the 'kind' aspect is missing in my design, but I tried to suggest some of the 'mischievousness' through my colour choices.
I had loads of fun with this design, I love drawing badgers, it's probably my favourite design that I've done. Unfortunately I've been pretty busy this month so I wasn't able to spend as long on this as I would have liked, but I'm really happy and looking forward to the next one.
Let me know what you think
