Belated hello from North Netherlands

Hi! My name is Bert and I'm a wannabe cartoonist/illustrator from the Netherlands.
I used to draw a lot in my younger years, stopped for 15+ years due to life getting in the way and now I've started again. Discovering Inktober and first participating in 2018 has led to me picking up my art tools again and now I'm focussing on learning the basic skills which I may have skipped over due to not having any formal training and drawing as much as I can in the limited free time that I have.
Below is a recent-ish drawing I made for my comic characters Hangover & Dave. It bears no relation to the current comic I'm working on, but I fancied creating an Indiana Jones-esque image.
If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact me. This forum is a good opportunity for me to try and get involved in the community a bit more.Take care!
