@LisaF Okay, I have to admit I was emotionally drained this month, not one but two kids off to college leaving us as empty nesters.:( Very little time to put too much thought or time into this but I did give it 3 straight days. Enjoyed painting once I got in the "zone"

Here's my Albert -- he's trying but he's still got a lot of wild animal in him. Love seeing everyone's take on this prompt and what aspects of "first day of school" we chose to illustrate! Awesome job, everyone!
