@keithryanstudio Looks like exclamation boy is punching Richard Pryor in the jaw. He didn’t even see it coming.

Is this the full panel? What I see here is the masked guy punching the other guy super hard so that his jaw wiggles, and his head is knocked to the side hard.

@Matthew-Oberdier & @Michael-Howe perfect thanks for responding! I was feeling like I had possibly sent the motion lines from his hand a bit off and it might be coming across more as a hammer strike than a punch. It's supposed to be a punch.

I was also hoping the strike on the jaw was reading right, as I thought I might have over-inked it with some of the shadow under the strike and some of the cross hatching right in the middle of the strike.

and it's one panel of a single page, about 1/8 of a page panel.

@keithryanstudio I think the punching action seems clear enough. I'd like to see a 3/4 view of the guy getting punched instead of a complete side profile. That's the only thing throwing me off a bit.

Nice @keithryanstudio! That’s a heck of a punch! Personally, I would have closed the man’s eye being punched. There’s something peculiar about him being able to look backwards with so much clarity.

@Jeremy-Ross good point. I hadn't thought of it that way. I have a few similar frames coming up, I'll have to try out some different ways to have him looking while he is getting struck.
