      Wanted to share a project i did, using my daughter and the family pets as references.

      They are quite inconsistent but i really learned a lot with the making of these three, i ended up adding color pencils with the last one (dogo) and it really made a difference with the control i had over the texture so im gonna keep experimenting on mixing watercolor with other media.

        These look great! I don’t do a lot of it, but usually add colored pencil to my watercolor also.

        I found some that are water soluble which is pretty cool, they are Caran D’ache Supracolor Soft. James Gurney uses them in some of his watercolor sketches.

        I’m about to attempt another watercolor soon, but will probably end up adding gouache to it.

          Thanks for the tip, i would certainly keep exploring with mixes and try to get my hands on better color pencils.
