Hey artist friends! I'm an illustrator looking for book cover work. I'm feeling really stuck in my search for book cover jobs that are higher paying. Here is my website if that helps anyone to see the genre/audience I'm going for. Could someone provide suggestions on where to go to find book cover specific work?? Thanks in advance!

Hi. ๐Ÿ™‚ I hope you find some higher paying jobs. I think the link to your website isnโ€™t correct at the moment - could you post it again? Iโ€™m interested to see your work. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi!!! My best suggestion is to look for an agent. Most publishers nowadays go to agents for illustration jobs. I don't think your website link is working tho. Could you please post it again? Thank you.

            HI Elisa!
This is tricky. I am running into sort of the same thing. Basically I am learning that I have been getting better way faster by doing MORE lower paying jobs. I am learning speed, skill, and communication at such an exponential rate compared to when I was just trying to work on my portfolio. I am not at the level where I can make what I want to per project yet... but I feel like I am playing the long game and I am getting there. I don't know what your art looks like (I'd love to see!) or what your financial situation is. I also see I your picture you have a baby (I have three- I get the time thing!) but that's what I have found in my own life. That was probably not super helpful lol. But, you're not alone in your ponderings... Best of luck!!
