            Y'ALL

HOW THE - DO YOU DRAW INFANTS?

I reaaaaaally dont like how this baby came out for the day 10 prompt "pick". What are your guidelines to drawing infants? How would you fix the face (granted this has a total of 7 hours put into it)? Yeeeesh

Anyhoo! Hope your sunday is going well! Happy drawing!

            Best,
            Shani

@TheArtBard hey dear, I couldn’t explain it in English so I tried to change it a little bit, just by sketching on your work if you don’t mind. Babies normally have big heads and eyes, and little noses, mouths, ears and eyebrows. I would also change the position of the leg (I couldn’t do it right here)and maybe make smaller hand, as they often keep hand in a fist. I like to study anatomy before drawing even if my style is a lot stylized. Pinterest helps me a lot. Hope it helped you somehow ♥

                      OH MY

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it! I can't tell you how embarrassed I am of that kid's face (LOL), it's not my usual standard, an obvious weak point, so I really appreciate you showing me what should be changed! Very helpful! Love your rendition! I'll have to redraw the face, hand, and leg just to make up for it. I definitely can't let this piece stand as is, even if it is an inktober sketch (YEEESH).
                      So THANKYOU!

I hope your Inktober is going well? LOOOOOVE your pieces so far!

                      Cheers!

                        Inktober Day 11 - "Acid"

So the other month, after a good year or so of getting back into coffee, my stomach revolted and handed me an ultimate betrayal.

                        It said NO to coffee.

Just a sip was enough to set my stomach on fire. I'd be bed-ridden for hours just waiting for that sip to settle.
So, I've been off the coffee since then. Can't even look at coffee without my stomach growling a warning, daring me to have a cup.

Inktober Day 11's prompt rolls around and it's "acid". Didn't need to think too hard about that one 🙂

I live in Washington, and we HAVE coffee. Gooood coffee. And lots of baristas, all with extensive tattoos and piercings. I can just picture one of them sinking into a steaming latte if they had the chance. Thus, here we are. Enjoy!

I wanted to make this one easy on myself, so I kept it just black and white, just hatching, crosshatching, and stippling.

Okay! So I've updated it with the info you offered in mind, and it's SO much better! I sight referenced your lines while I drew, just to get the cutesy curves right, super helpful! Thank you! I could use more practice, but I am more at peace with this piece than before. Thanks so much @Koaila-art!

                            Hope all's well!

@TheArtBard oh non don’t ever be embarrassed of your works. You put so much effort and time on it it deserves your love even if you’re not 100% happy. I sometimes post the art work I’m not really proud of, but just because I invested my time in it. And also to see my progress once I will be better. So any art deserves our attention 💓

                                  Days 9- 12!
I am currently having much fun with this inktober!
Also I begin to bond with my characters, Ed & Ron!
Anyways, is it just me or this years prompts are harder to create something unique?
Or I have this issue cause english is a foreign language to me?

Anyways, how is your inktober guys?

                                    Inktober 2021 day 11- sour:
Gummy worms were good, sour patch kids were ok, but Sour gummy ants were Esmerelda the anteaters favourite! They were almost too good to share. Chocolate Ants were a close second, but eating 35, 000 ants a day made a really mess.

Esmerelda’s pup wanted some too. It was tough to find an anthill big enough for two, let alone a bag of sour gummy ants big enough for both of them. Maybe he would like some candied termites?!
