-
Are you switching to an episode every week now?? That would be AMAZING
-
@annaaronson Yep! every week is the goal! : )
-
@lee-white That's good cause I've already listened to all of the others

Listening to this episode. For those who haven't seen the SOI call for entries poster thought that this would be useful to include.
Purpose of this image:
To persuade illustrators to submit their very best work of the last year to an elite competition.Cost: $35 per entry.
If accepted: $90 to actually hang/reproduced in the book in the show.A clarification from the podcast: This IS NOT the image that will printed on the cover of the book. This is only the call for entries poster. So the target audience is not art directors but rather illustrators.
It may also be useful to see the previous posters as there are some differences and similarities. From 2020:
And from 2019:

@davidhohn thank you!

@davidhohn Thank you for posting this because I REALLY wanted to see the image they were talking about.....
-
@davidhohn thanks for posting that (even though it still hurts my eyes!)
-
@lee-white It makes me very confused deep in my soul.....

@davidhohn That image makes me nostalgic for Arthur. As an adult that grew up with that show, this seems like pretty good marketing, pulling on those deep imbeded dreams of being an artist that I held as a child. I don't know if that was his intention at all, but that's what it does for me.
