Hello to everyone from sunny Florida!! My name is Mike and I'm born and raised in New Jersey just recently moved to Florida. I just signed up for SVSLearn and I have to admit drawing for me is like dancing I am considered to have two left feet and wooden legs lol! I've been interested in world building / fantasy novel writing for a long time but I can never get the characters write because I cannot create them myself. I'm taking this course and wanting to meet all of you to bring this dream to reality. I'm excited to start this journey but could use some tips and stories of how all of you started. I keep things like this stored in my notebook for encouragement when I start to doubt myself. I'm very excited to be here and look forward to meeting new people and learning how to draw in 2022 & beyond!

I’ve been here about a year and a half and I have learned sooo much from from both svs classes and members. I have always made art and enjoyed books but it wasn’t until I made tiny humans that I realized I should put the two together. So I’m aspiring to write and illustrate children’s books as well as young adult novels. See you around!

So cool that you're into world building and fantasy! We definitely will always need more fantasy stories. Super excited to follow your journey and remember every creative has bad days and feel down about their dreams, but those are just days. I bet you have amazing stories and I can't wait for you to share them with us!
