@miranda-branley this is looking realllly good! But yes I think it is lacking a story. Maybe a kid tiger has a โ€œboo booโ€ of some sort? Not sure, story is something Iโ€™ve really been working on myself. Good luck I canโ€™t wait to see how it progresses!

@miranda-branley really fun idea! Yes, I agree with @Asyas_illos -- story is missing a bit. There is also a nod to Frosted Flakes -- is that your intention?

Just a suggestion of one way you could make the storytelling stronger: if the story is that the dad tiger is a role model for his cubs, maybe one or a few of them are imitating what he's doing? Is he leading them in daily exercises? Or maybe is he playing with them too, maybe lifting one or all of them into the air ... with one paw?

One other thing: consider how to make the composition more dynamic. You may want to try a different POV or try 3/4 view or multiple views instead of all characters being drawn straight on. Moving tiger dad to the left 1/3 or right 1/3 instead of almost directly in the middle might also make for a better composition.

Really cute characters. Looking forward to seeing where you go with this!

@melissa-bailey-0 No, that was not my intention at all. I guess it makes sense when you combine strength to a tiger that stands on two feet. I wonder if there's a way to move away from that. Posing the tiger parent in a different pose? I'll have to experiment and see what other power poses there are.

That's an interesting way to go that I hadn't thought about! Maybe by playing around more about what they are doing together, it won't seem like they're in the same world as Tony the Tiger. Haha.

Interesting idea on perspective! I'll play around with that!

Thank you for the advice! That really helps me think about the work I'm doing.

I just tried playing around with it again tonight just to see what I could do with it. I feel as though I lost the emphasis on "power" and "strength" ๐Ÿ˜•

Okay I love the pro wrestler idea. I'm invested in it. He comes home to greet his family and he tells them he wins yet another trophy! But on the left side of the spread, is a pile of trophies on the floor. He's won so many of them and his family still supports and loves him so much. He actually loves coming home more than he loves winning. ๐Ÿ™‚

@miranda-branley MUCH stronger composition! And I've never seen a pro wrestler tiger before, so that's a creative concept.

There are a few things that are confusing to me in this thumbnail:

                      1. Why are there a pile of trophies on the floor? I think that would raise more questions than help tell your story. Trophies lining the walls, perhaps surrounding the welcome home sign, might help make the story clearer.
                      2. Why is the one baby tiger crying? Even if it's crying for joy, it needs to look happy. Otherwise, the scene again becomes confusing. Is this a happy occasion? What has happened to make the baby sad? Is the baby actually afraid of its father?

Just a few things to think about. Loving where this is headed!

I'm liking how this is developing. I can't improve on Melissa's feedback and agree with what she has said. Looking forward to the next steps.
