What's the best file type for uploading illustrations here? My last one came in as a link. Not sure why.

I use imgur to host my images, JPGs. Once, an image is downloaded, I open the image in a new tab, and copy that link. If you copy the embed link, you will likely get a link to the page where it is being hosted instead of the image.
