Soooo when does the actual critique happen? Will there be an email or link? Newbie to this here. Thx
-
@KatrinaF It is on Thursday April 14TH @ 2:00 P.M. MDT. They send an email beforehand (a day or two ahead and then the day of). The info is also on the site: https://www.critiquearena.com/ in a section called ready to join the event?
-
@KatrinaF I’m not sure if critiquearena is this Thursday or next, it’s usually the second Thursday of the month, they post it a couple days before on social media and email links to paid subscribers to participate in the zoom session
-
Got it! Thx. I thought I had searched the critique arena website pretty well but looks like I totally missed it! Well the good news is that the 14th is MY BIRTHDAY! And the big 50 to boot. LOL.
Thanks again. See you at the critique!
-
@KatrinaF happy early birthday! Mines the 11th
-
Great work everybody and a big THANK YOU to all who submitted art this month!
Mark your calendars for Critique Arena on on Thursday, April 14 at 2pm MST. We'll be emailing event links next week.
We will be posting the top 16 soon and don't forget that we're now having a special time during Critique Arena for honorable mentions too!
See you all soon!
-
@David do you know when the top 16 are being announced? I’ve been keeping an eye out but haven’t seen anything.
-
@StudioLooong my guess would be tomorrow!
-
I just want to wish everyone the best of LUCK in this round of critique arena. I’m in Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada and we’re about to get walloped with potentially 80 cms (32 inches) of snow overnight tonight. The weather statement that was announced stated to prepare for 72 hours without power/heat, and to stock up on food to last a week. It’s gonna be significant… so I likely won’t be able to tune in on Thursday to watch. But I guess it’ll offer me good inspiration for May’s “Storm” prompt HAHAHAHA. (Also, cue the panicked buyers in the grocery store, it’s reminiscent of March 2020 on steroids)
-
@AngelinaKizz yikes stay warm!
-
I love winter storms.... but not in April! Stay warm and safe.
-
@demotlj not 80 centimetres! Haha
-
@AngelinaKizz Did you get the storm? Lol, I guess you can answer if you have internet. I hope you didn't get that much snow! In April that is just cruel.
We live in Fargo and they had forecasted a storm here but it changed at the last minute. We have gotten a bunch of rain this week and we are supposedly going to have a snow squall tonight. Squall is such a weird word.
-
@Lisa-Clark we got a good dump of snow, this morning, but nothing overwhelming. They’re still calling for up to 40 more centimetres and it’s snowing again right now. Luckily no power outages as of yet. I’m hopeful that I’ll be able to tune in tomorrow.
