Here is my submission for this month's prompt "Lucky." (Had the carnival idea before Lee's rendering... just sayin'!!). Good luck to everyone.

Disappointed this month. I didn't get to finish my piece in time, as I started a new job recently and only had about 8 hours to work on it. I could try adding the colour but I'm still not even 100% happy with the linework yet as I rushed a lot of the elements without designing them first or lining them up with the perspective, and don't want to submit something that I couldn't put all my energy into.
If I had more time I would have fixed the perspective on the lucky cats, and given the kid a proper design.
I might come back to this in the future as I was really looking forward to it, but for now I think I'll just move on to the next one and use this as a lesson in time management.

Decided to go ahead and do a final for one of my other prompt ideas. Maybe I should replace the other one on the arena, can I even do that?
I think it's more successful in reading quicker than my first one. Thoughts? -

Played around with several ideas but finished this one. I would like to have tried it in pen and ink and watercolor but did not have time.
