@Kristen-Lango There's a SCBWI group in the area? I never knew. I'd love to be able to come to a sketch group, I haven't done that in years, but I'm not sure it's not really possible. My wife had a brain tumor about 8 years ago and at this point she's not super mobile so I don't like leaving her alone for extended periods of time. I'm not sure that the children's book crowd would really appreciate my style but it would be really cool to be able to spend time with other creatives.

@randarrington It took me a while to find them haha, and some are as close to DC as Falls Church and others are out in Richmond or farther, but we meet up online each month! Would you like me to ask the group to add you? I'm so sorry to hear about your wife, I can't imagine what you must go through. You're certainly welcome in Alexandria! @Kristen-Lango You know this introduction is a masterclass in presentation. I so wanted to copy this! Instead I did a boring introduction! But since I posted I have added a small drawing and revamped the title. Ha ha.

Thank you! I definitely can't take all the credit though haha, I got the idea to make some intro illustrations after listening to the creative peptalk podcast
