Introduction: I'm Jerry

Hello! My name is Jerry. A lot of the time I go by Req, which is short for Requiemmachine (my usual online handle) which is, in turn, short for Requiem for the Machine (which is the name of my solo music project). Anyways, like a lot of people I spend most of my childhood drawing and did so right through highschool, and loved it. I've also always been very enmeshed in music (i've been a multi-instrumental musician for most of my life as well). After highschool, the music thing kinda took over and I ended up spending the majority of my 20's on tour as a musician. I then spent the majority of my 30's recovering from the mistakes of my 20's and now find myself at 40 with a renewed love of drawing. So I've come here to learn, develop and expand on art. I've also been trying to set more realistic goals for myself...and my current goal is to do just that...learn and develop to the point that I end this year with a portfolio and I can be proud of.
