April treehouse wip
-
I did a second one. I’d like to add a cute welcome sign, but I’m brainstorming what I’d like it to say.
-
@AngelinaKizz this is fun! I did a similar design for my fairy tale inn. I would light up the inside to make it more inviting. Holes could look menacing. I like the carved look! So cool!
-
@chrisaakins thanks for the advice Chris! You’re totally right, I’ll add lights!
-
So I added some lights, and a few tiny details but I feel like it’s missing something… I’m not sure what.
-
@AngelinaKizz Wow! This is so COOL! I wanna live here! Love the bark texture, design and mushrooms.
-
@KatrinaF thanks Katrina!
-
@AngelinaKizz Its great! You say you're not sure what its missing... maybe some garnish? Little flowers or something. Just a thought.
-
@AngelinaKizz Wow, this is great. An exciting design.
-
@AngelinaKizz I really like this concept of having the greenhouse below, but I think the text is a bit too big and distracting and possibly it doesn't need to be in a font, but maybe something you hand write. The only other thing I notice is that I don't think we'd see that book shelf so much on the second floor up there. But I love the way you stylised this tree!
-
@Kristen-Lango thanks so much for the input. I’ll play with the text more and see what I can come up with. I appreciate it!
-
Tried something really loose and quick
-
@AngelinaKizz love it!
-
@AngelinaKizz love this! And I love the rough style, too. So much life in your brushstrokes!
-
@Melissa_Bailey thanks Melissa! It’s really difficult for me to let go of tiny details when that’s been what my entire past art career revolved around. Getting every last detail. I have so much to learn, and I totally loved letting go with no expectations on this one.
