The Comet by Joe Todd Stanton

I recently picked up Joe Todd Stanton’s latest book, The Comet, and it’s absolutely wonderful. It just might be my favorite children’s book now, it’s not a stretch to call it a perfect book in my opinion. There’s a lovely attention to detail and after my second read of it I realized that even if the story had no words the illustrations still convey the story perfectly which I think is the mark of an excellent illustrator. Definitely check this one out!
