Licencing question

Hi Guys, long time no post, I know! But I have a question I need answered. I'm working with a self publishing author.

My quote was just for illustrating and designing his book for print. It's my undertanding that authors purchase the rights/licence to use the illustrations in the printed book only, then if they wish to do say, an ebook, they then pay another fee to use the illustrations that way too. I have this outlined in the contract I originally put together, however, now the author is actually talking about wanted to do an ebook version, I dont know how much to charge for that usage. Any guidance on that?
