Edit* re-uploaded image with refined lighting. I'm having a hard time replicating the effects of light beams. Hopefully this revision is improved

Here it is, the final assignment for the creative composition course. What a great class. I learned so much.

      The prompt was

"Quickly the little salamander scampered down to the forest floor to hide from the squirrel"

I could have spent another hour or two refining it, but I had to make myself stop! One lesson I need to learn is to not over draw ..

Shout out to @tom-barrett for a drawover that really helped me with my lighting.

Critiques would be appreciated, thank you!

@Matt-Burge-1 Looks good! You can actually see it better on your IG post. Even if you turned this in, I would, for your own benefit, go back in and darken the shadows more to really bring out the contrast between the shadows and highlights. Nice work!

@Matt-Burge-1 great job! It reminds me of my youngest running away with something she stole from her brother. But agree that the contrast might be pushed further still? To have more focus also on the lizard and especially the squirrel? I really like the composition.

@tom-barrett I think I will go back and darken the areas. I suppose I was afraid I'd go too far.
