Finally found time to watch October's Critique Arena and am SO pleasantly surprised to find myself as an honorable mention. After a hectic November, here's my entry.

Hi all! Final submission for the year! Here's my take on our "Kamari" prompt. I've only done a few contests, and its been fun. Seeing so much great art is bonus for sure. THIS prompt is no different! Hope to see you all in the ARENA. I look forward to improving my art, and storytelling in 2023... where it will be a new beginning.

Here's my take on the Kamari prompt — I went through more concepts and roughs than I ever have on any other illustration for this prompt! It was doing my head in!

@Jeremy-Ross Such a poignant theme for a child, Jeremy. There's a beautiful book on the subject of moving house you might enjoy — "Claire’s Goodbye", by Libby Gleeson.

@Asyas_illos Last year we were told to email our submission to them directly and not use the website but it might be different this year. But check your email — they should've sent you instructions when they invited you to submit to the All Stars comp.
