Yeti story idea

I’m really curious if this is a good enough idea to spend more time on. What do you guys think? Obviously the writing would need work, but I could easily add pages to make this into a traditional-sized picture book.

The synopsis I have so far is Yeti wants to travel far from his home in the Himalayan Mountains, and wants to find new exciting spice flavors by trying food around the world.

@kayleenartlover Oh my goodness I love this idea! You could have so much fun with a gourmet chef Yeti. I think it's worth putting more work into.

I would say that there is a need of a story. Like why does the Yeti need to go around the world? Did he solves his problem?
I like the idea of a Chef Yeti that would go around the world and discover the food of each country/region. That would be educational for the kids and parents

UPDATE: I've been taking the SVS class: writing children's books, and I am still figuring out the story for why the Yeti is traveling around the world, but now I'm wondering if making the book look like a travel journal would be better than a regular narrative? The words would be short journal entries, with selfie photos and or sketches of places, food, meeting monsters like Nessie, Bigfoot, or Chupacabra, stuff like that.
He is either traveling for a vacation away from the cold home for excitement, or traveling to find new recipes or ingredients for change of food at home, or meeting pen pals, or something else that I haven't thought of yet. But I think having a running gag of "note to self" when stuff goes wrong or learns something new would be fun.
Any advice is much appreciated since this will require quite a bit of time to research places I've never been to. -
Here is an example of what it would sorta look like if I made it a travel journal book. Would love to get feedback on it.

@kayleenartlover not sure about the market but I personally love love love travel journals!
For a Yeti chef, I could picture your book being a nonfiction series for kids:
- Yeti travel journal
- Chef Yeti's recipe book
- Other yeti adventures? Yeti makes crafts from around the world?
For a journal format the choice of type would be important. It needs to look like a believable handwriting. Even better if you could write them by hand, especially for the shorter snippets and titles. Do give this project a bit more thought and research, I think you're onto something!

@ArtMelC Thank you! I'm taking the SVS writing course and SVS Visual Storytelling Techniques course so I can improve in writing/storytelling and I've been learning a lot!
