        @blackhound-rise I think whether it’s successful depends on what you’re going for.

        The assignment does call for abstract designs which don’t depict real things, so I don’t think drawing faces counts. I think the idea of the assignment is to not rely on representation to depict emotion.

        That being said, maybe you were trying to go for something else with the assignment, in which case I think the faces look like they depict the correct emotions.

          @skeletortoise thank you. i'm totally off track with Magic of Colour. i need to keep working on this course. it's hard for me to understand. even the grid exercises don't make sense. i'll start it over again.
