      Hi folks,

Can anyone remember which class/chapter discussed how to compose your illustration so that it's not literally illustrating what is written in the text. I remember it from a class I watched some time ago but can't find it anywhere! I recently skimmed through parts 1 and 2 of Illustrating Children's Books but couldn't see it (although I might have missed it).

I remember Will, Jake or Lee saying something like it being boring or amateurish to do that. There was also a discussion about illustrating just before or after the moment of action, or something like that.

Any pointers would be much appreciated.

      Adam
