HELP Needed Deciding YouTube Name

Hi, everyone! So I’ve decided to start my own art YouTube channel. I’ve been learning how to edit videos and making art for said videos.

I’ve been having trouble naming my channel tho.

Here’s what I got

Option 1

Nyrryl Cadiz

it’s my name. It’s straightforward. It makes it easy for people to connect my YouTube with my illustration work. May not be the easiest to remember. I have a weird name. Almost everyone misspells or mispronounces it or both.

Option 2

Art with Nyrryl

Simple, easier to remember. Still has my weird name. Might cause people a longer time to associate with my illustration work

@Nyrryl-Cadiz I think i would vote for Art with Nyrryl because it gives a hint as to the content - "Art with Nyrryl Cadiz" would be possibly even better. You have a cool name so why not use the whole thing

@Nyrryl-Cadiz I second Kevin's suggestion. You might even do a bit of humour and put the pronunciation of your name at every video cover image. Eventually viewers and subscribers will remember!

@Nyrryl-Cadiz Super exciting! Once you get it up and running, send me a link and I'll subscribe. I think the fact that you have a unique name plays in your favour. Once people learn it, it's distinct and memorable. I like option 2 for the same reason already listed - it tells what the channel is about.

There's something very confident about using just your name. For example, the channel Anoosha Syed and it works great for her!

Art with Nyrryl gives a bit more context, though that's not absolutely necessary since the title of your videos will do that. Examples include the popular Mimimoo Illustration, or my own channel Art Business with Ness!

I think you ought to keep your full name Nyrryl! Yes it's unique and that's what makes a cool name! I might be biased because I love your work and I pay attention to artists who I like. I'm looking forward to your channel! Nyrryl Cadiz Art would stick in my head @NessIllustration is right! I love Anoosha and she even authored/illustrated a book about getting her name right

Take this with a grain of salt, because I haven’t stuck with YouTube long enough to gather a large following, but I feel like “Art with ____ “ has been done a lot, and isn’t really unique anymore.

I kind of like the other option of just using your name. I mean, it doesn’t tell people what you do, but that won’t matter as much once you get some traction.
