Why, hello again :)

Hi everyone! I haven't taken classes at SVS in a while, but I've missed the community here and I'm happy to see it still thriving. I've been working on a few projects, much thanks to all I've learned here at SVS. Just finished up my third picture book with Familius publishing. And yes, I did some very low paying work for Cricket Media for the experience and exposure. Fingers crossed I get paid.

I'm always open to more picture books, but am also looking for ways to earn money with my art in other ways such as freelance gigs and an Etsy shop, so I'm curious to see what that looks like for other folks.

@Laurel-Aylesworth Congrats Laurel!!! I am peeking in the forum after a long hiatus as well! I too, was hired by Cricket Media! I took the job, even though I heard Lee on the podcast say he'll never work with them again. I did it though for the exposure also. Mine should come out in the May/June issue, it's called Planet Pumpkin. Anyway, great job in getting more work!! I love the SVS community... artists are my favorite people
