Can't believe I missed out on this awesome thread for this long! Here's my first exercise:

Blocked out a silhouette of the real squirrel to get a general idea of what shapes I was working with under all that fur and detail.

Hoping to get one of these done everyday. 🙂 Any feedback is much appreciated.

@Everyone I'm enjoying looking at all your fun versions, so cool to see different characters created 😛
@DanetteDraws thanks for the feedback, yeah I agree, the arms would need some more work, which I would do at some coloring step (I would also change the size of the nuts and probably use only one nut 🙂

Meanwhile, here are my three foxes-like furries, had a lot of fun doing them 🙂

@DanetteDraws Thanks Danette, for your comments. I had some big ears but for this I thought it would be funny to hide them, but some bumps can be fun! The feet are ment to be comical aswell, If she has Charlie Chaplin feet and leans on her left hip, its no pproblem to pose like this. Maybe its best to turn the right foot a bit and make it shorter. Ill try some different angles.

@Thrace-Shirley-Mears HI Thrace! what a lovely mouse-girly! a view things for improvement: The left ear should be more to the front of the head. and the right arm is bending forwards, witch is anatomically not possible. Don't forget to place centerlines to help you whit placement of the face. Love the tipsy tail!

@Lynn-Larson I love them, especially the one who's reaching fur nuts, it tells a story even though it's only a sketch!!
